Whale Watching

Go Sea Kayaking with Whales in Byron Bay

Byron Bay, once a whale hunting ground in the 1950’s and 60’s is now one of the best places on the East Coast of Australia to view majestic Humpback Whales. During their migration season, Humpbacks make their way from Antartica to the warmer waters off Queensland and return with their young calves.

Whale watching from your sea kayak with Go Sea Kayak is a truly memorable experience.

Humpback Whales up to 15 metres in length can pass within metres of your kayak while you are out on the Bay.

They are such inquisitive mammals that they will at times swim right underneath your kayak and frolic very close to the shoreline in Byron Bay.

Whale watching season begins in early June and continues right through to late October each year. Join Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay for your whale watching adventure this year and enjoy one of Mother Nature’s most fascinating creations.
