Owned and operated by Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club stalwart , Kurt Tutt all of our team are highly trained surf lifesavers and local water men and women.

Our team of guides cannot be matched for experience. You will be kayaking with a team of long term locals, passionate and with years of local knowledge and experience behind them.

We have the best safety record in town, and the best guide to customer ratio in the industry and have worked here for over 10 years. The experience they have on the ocean is invaluable in ensuring you are safe on the water.

We won GOLD for Ecotourism at the NSW Tourism Awards in 2018 and 2019. We care about the environment, protecting it and do our best to pass this message on to our guests.

We’re 100% committed to supporting eco and sustainable tourism, and have been recognised by Ecotourism Australia for doing so.

Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay have held a long term commitment to sustainably operating sea kayak tours in Byron Bay now for over 17 years. Our commitment to respect of the habitat of wild mammal population is unwavering. We have collected years of data that supports the interaction with wildlife being on the terms of the wildlife, not the human being.

We have donated thousands of dollars to local community and environment focused charities and groups. We aim to put back in, by kayaking with us you are supporting local community and the environment.

You will learn about local history and indigenous culture as our team of local surf life savers lead you around Australia’s most easterly point and the famous lighthouse!
